Teaching is inherently evaluative—we are always gauging what our students know. And the real value of assessment is in its impact on instruction.  But how to gain this understanding in ways that are useful and meaningful can often get lost in compulsory evaluations.  Together we will explore the best ways to learn what your students know and how to harness that information in ways that are genuine and productive.
