In some ways, we all feel like Alice through the looking glass. But the questions that educators ask
WHAT do we want students to learn? HOW should they learn? remain the same. What we must now explore–what is your what? The same goals–student ownership, taking risks, critical thinking, remain the objective. How to accomplish these using tools that may feel foreign.
The other component is supporting educators through ongoing coaching as they engage in the unfamiliar and to be honest, everyone feels like a first year teacher as we make our way through the unfamiliar. To provide the best support for our students and colleagues, teachers need the support of a strong coach as well.
